COLDWATER — Registered sex offender Daniel Torres, 49, was charged with felonious assault with a knife after a welfare check by an Adapt worker at a Morse Street apartment house Tuesday. The worker saw both Torres and a 57-year-old woman with blood on them. Coldwater Police determined that Torres had cut himself with the large hunting knife. He had also reportedly cut the woman.
